Punjab is an agrarian state and river waters are its lifelines. People are fully dependent on it. Punjab had absolute right over its river waters but through various agreements and decisions it had been robbed of its due share in broad daylight. “The people of Punjab are the custodians of the river waters in the state and won’t allow to share a single drop of it with any state as Punjab didn’t have spare water to share with anyone. The decision to construct SYL on Punjab in defiance to nationally and internationally has been taken for its implementation. 

Water, together with soil, is the underpinning assets of any land based business. Water is becoming increasingly important for farmers especially when their farm businesses incorporate irrigated rather than rain-fed farm enterprises. The quality of the water is used in terms of chemical and microbiological standards for business will also affect the types of crops that can be grown on the farm and ultimately the productive and financial capacity of the business. All living beings need water for the survival. The Earth is full of water. Water is the most essential element, next to air, to our survival for leading a good and healthy life. A farmer is one of the most important members of society. 

He is the gives food to the people, to all practical purposes. It will show the positive effect to the Punjab and its economy. Government has shown excellent steps for the improvement on water issues and other crises. As we all know that Punjab government is doing a lot for the farmers and their issues. It would help in improving the efficiency and performance of boosting the research in agriculture sector.

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar scholarship scheme launched - Akali Dal

Education is an important human activity. It was born with the birth of the human race and shall continue to function as long as the human race lives.Government gave approval of launching Dr.BR Ambedkar scholarship scheme for brilliant students of 10 and +2 classes of government schools across the world. 125 toppers will be awarded carrying prize money of 1lakh and 1.5lakh from all the districts. Government advised the organization of seminars of life, philosophy in the universities. Even to reveal the works of Dr. BR Ambedkar. 

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar was a scholar, jurist and a revolutionist. He raised his voice against the social evils like un touchablity and caste-restrictions. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar tried to turn the Wheel of the Law toward social justice for all. It is a self-enlightening process. It is crucial to the overall development of an individual and the society. State government also gave approval of state level function on the birthday of Dr. BR Ambedkar at Phagwara on 14TH April. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar is popularly known as 'Babasaheb'. He was an Indian jurist, political leader, philosopher, anthropologist, historian, orator, economist, teacher, editor, prolific writer, revolutionary and a revivalist for Buddhism in India. He became the 1st Law Minister of India. 

He became the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee. For his contributions, he was awarded with 'Bharat Ratna'. He contributes a lot for the people. Same thing the government is doing for the sake of Punjab and its culture. It’s our first duty to preserve our cultural heritage. The culture of Punjab underwent significant phases of evolution now.

THE BUST OF GREAT SIKH WARRIOR MAHARAJA RANJIT SINGH TO BE INSTALLED - Akali Dal

The Punjab Government decided to hand over the bust of the great Sikh warrior Maharaja Ranjit Singh to be installed in Saint Tropez in France. Even the person who is the fourth generation of Gen. Allard advised to the installation of a statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Saint Tropez on September 17, 2016 would be instrumental in strengthening the bonds of bonhomie, friendship and compassion between the people of Punjab and France. 

It will lead to many developments and advantages to our economy. People will also create a strong bonding between both the countries. Gen. Ventura (Italian) served in the army of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and both made an enormous contribution for the modernization of his military through their strategic experience and raised Fauj-i-khas, the “special” or “royal” brigade. It is the major reason for this initiative. Saint-Tropez is of very prominent tourist’s destination world over where nearly 6.5 million tourists visit this place every year. 

It is the center o0f attraction for the people. This unique initiative would go a long way in further strengthening the bilateral relations between India and France. Punjab will be famous so much due to Gen. Allard’s outstanding contribution in the army of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The installation of Maharaja Ranjit Singh bust in Saint Tropez would relive the cherished moments in the golden annals of Sikh History. Government is doing a lot for preserving its beautiful heritage. It aims to provide a previously unmatched and unrivalled level of service to all. Hold free blood sugar camp progamme – Akali Dal

Punjab initiates Special Programme for blood sugar test free of cost in nutrition counseling programs and healthy workshops and events. The aim of this study is to analyze available blood sugar causes to be diagnosed at various hospitals. As many as 12117 people got themselves examined for diabetes during these camps. A multiple case study design was chosen in order to inquire the small number of existing supportive programmes. It offers a variety of activities and therapies which are highly valuable and relevant for people with diabetes. 

It leads to an increasing number of people are diagnosed with blood sugar and cured. It emphasizes a demand for developing rehabilitation strategies which contributes to difficulties for patients to become informed and knowledgeable about existing rehabilitation programmes. In this non-profitable organization, based on the theme halt the rise and beat diabetes. Punjab government has decided to hold free blood sugar camp in all districts and all hospitals of the state on 6th April and 7th April timings from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. all of our dedicated team members have true sympathy for the people who come to us and to enable them to beat diabetes which will further help monetarily and spiritually.

CM cautions people to beware of malicious propaganda of ‘seasonal birds’ and ‘proven enemies of the state’ - Akali Dal

CM cautions the people of Punjab to beware of seasonal birds like AAP and Congress as they are proven the enemies of the state. SAD has done very good job by ensuring the well being of each and every person of society by laying special thrust on those belonging to weaker sections. He announced that the Punjab Government will announce major pro-people decisions in the coming budget. 

Government is always being focused on bringing about qualitative change in the country and alleviate poverty. Punjab was the only state which was giving free power up to Rs. 5500 crore annually to farmers by only with the help of good work of SAD government. As recently promised for the development works of Punjab will go on at full pace and overall development of the State will be ensured. It’s the promise by Punjab government. State would be fought on the development agenda and people will give full support to SAD-BJP and the coalition will continue to be in power after the next elections as well.

Pledge to protect water for the sake of Punjab – Akali Dal

Water is a basic necessity, needed to maintain a healthy body, a clear mind, and a good balance within your tissues. Government is doing very good job by ensuring the well being of each and every person of society. Government has shown excellent steps for the improvement on water issues and other crises. The government will not allow Punjab’s water to be shared. Punjab is not in a condition to share even a drop of water with others”. 

It is a prerequisite for human health and well-being. As government has decided not to give Punjab water will only Punjab people can use their water and can resolve their problems related to water. Government is doing a lot for the sake of culture and economy. Government said that water is the basic ingredient of life and if it will share water it would lead to the disaster, which will ruin Punjab. Every Punjabi must take pledge to protect water of the state at any cost. Congress party has broken the back bone of farmers in the country. 

Government has given relaxation to the jewelers who are agitating since imposition of duty on them. Even they promised to listen and fulfil the demands of jewelers as they were under tremendous pressure. Government said that everyone is free to test water in any elections. Even they have ensured remunerative prices of harvest of the farmers. It would help in improving the efficiency and performance of boosting the research in agriculture sector. As we all know that Punjab government is doing a lot for the farmers and their issues. We need to adopt and promote such innovative technologies to lead to greater harvest yields and help meet rising domestic demand for food products.

Water is not only a resource, it is a life source. We all share the responsibility to ensure a healthy, secure and sustainable water supply for our communities, environment and human beings. Asserting that Satluj Yamuna Link (SYL) would never become a reality, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today avowed to make every sacrifice to protect the river waters of the state. 

There is no extra water in Punjab to spare for anybody. He said SAD is ready to make every sacrifice on this sacred path. No price is too high in order to safeguard every drop of Punjab’s waters as it is the life’s blood of the state, especially its farmers. Punjab government is protecting water which further helps to protect rural economies dependent upon irrigation water, and helps farmers and ranchers preserve the environment. Punjab is taking such initiative steps by helping people to develop safe and sustainable water sources for their communities. 

The wise Punjabi's now that they are the real culprits who ignored the interests of the state and its people for appeasing their high command. It’s true that water was basic ingredient of life and any such move to share the river waters of the state would be disastrous as it would ruin Punjab. All of us should pledge to protect the waters of the state at any cost. No one can forgive congress for executing anti sikh riots. Congress party’s misrule had broken the back bone of the farmers. The regressive policies ruined the farmers of the country. Government has decided that all the farmers would be provided a health insurance cover of Rs.50,000 and an insurance of Rs.5 lac in case of accidental death or incapacitate of head of family. Government is doing every effort for serving the people of the state with full dedication and commitment.

Punjab government signed an MoU for setting up an Advanced Welding Workshop, by The Director, Technical Education & Industrial Training (Punjab) with L&T company at Government ITI, Rajpura. The MOU was signed with Nabha Power Limited and EWAC Alloys. It emphasizes the need to proliferate latest skills in welding techniques to all ITI’s by use of this facility to its utmost. NPL is asked to make extensive efforts to accelerate assimilation of these techniques with ITI Trainers and Students.

For the state development it utilized to ensure infra structural, social and economic development of over 200 villages under the scheme by the Universities. Support of Universities in this noble cause would act as a catalyst for social and economic development of the rural areas.

Government aims to make the Universities a partner in the Punjab’s rural growth. Universities would nurture five villages with the fulsome support and cooperation of the State Government. Punjab government is using various advanced techniques to improve services like Health, education, agriculture and allied farming, water supply and sanitation, sports and skill development & employment. It’s a master plan for giving boost to development of villages. This kind act would lead to the economic development of people residing in rural areas. Universities play proactive role in imparting skill training to youth and women to make them gainfully self employed. Universities make Punjab people aware about various social welfare initiative steps taken by the State Government so that they could reap their benefits and lead a fruitful life in the means of education. Government is taking every possible step to make the farmers aware about making agriculture more remunerative by reducing their input costs. The beginning seems to be very good and hoped that desired target would be achieved soon for the Punjab development.

Shiromani Akali Dal | Historic Decision Regarding SYL

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal on Wednesday said the construction of Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal would not be “allowed at any cost and under any circumstances. He asked the people to get ready for a tough battle ahead for saving river waters of the State. He declared that decisions aimed at “robbing” the State and its people of their “rights” would never be accepted to him and SAD-BJP alliance. 

There never had been any need nor was there one now to construct the SYL canal. Mr. Badal expressed gratitude to the State BJP leadership especially Cabinet Minister Madan Mohan Mittal and State BJP chief Kamal Sharma, who had fully supported the cause for river waters.he declared that he was ready to make any sacrifice rather than allow a single drop of water to flow out of state.he was looking for political revival  through the SYL issue. 

CM declared to safeguard the river waters of the State at any cost in accordance with the Riparian principles. He assailed the Congress for “depriving the State of its genuine rights” related to river waters. Construction of SYL  is ironic for Badal as well. . It is the Badal government that has now de-notified this canal and returned land to the original owners. his government wrote a letter to Haryana on July 4, 1978, seeking Rs 3 crore for the project. 

With the alarming rate at which the water table is going down due to excessive tubewell irrigation, Punjab faces the eventual threat of turning into a desert. Referring to Punjab Termination of Agreements Act 2004, which Congressmen claimed as their major contribution, the Chief Minister said all the agreements which were terminated through this Act, were done by Congress governments. Pig farming is the raising and breeding of domestic pigs. It is a branch of animal husbandry. Commercial pig farming in India for meat production is one of the best and profitable business ideas for the Indian people. Pigs were valued as a source of meat, fat and for the ability to turn inedible food into meat, and often fed household food waste if kept on a homestead. Pigs have been farmed to dispose of municipal garbage on a large scale. The activities on a pig farm depend on the husbandry style of the farmer. The majority of pigs are used for human food but also supply skin. Pigs grow faster than any other animals. They have higher feed conversion efficiency. Pigs can eat and consume almost all types of feed including grains, damaged food, forage, fruits, vegetables, garbage, sugarcane etc.

Pigs are farmed in many countries, though the main consuming countries are in Asia. Despite having the world’s largest herd, China is a net importer of pigs, and has been increasing its imports during its economic development. The largest exporters of pigs are the United States, European Union, and Canada. There are various methods of handling pigs which can be separated into those which lead to positive or negative reactions by the animals. These reactions are based on how the pigs interpret a handler’s behavior. Setting up pig farming business is easy and it requires little investment for building houses and buying equipment. Pig manure is a great and widely used fertilizer. Pig farming business can be a great income opportunities for the small and landless farmers. The pig population of the country is 11.1 millionas per the 2012-13 annual report of Animal Husbandry. Apart from providing meat, it is also a source of bristles and manure. In view of the importance of pig farming in terms of it’s contribution to rural poor and possible potentials for pig rearing in our country, Government of India has initiated measures to promote the pig farming on scientific lines under its five year plans.

Bhagat Singh is the legend hero who sacrificed his life at the age of 21 for India s an Indian revolutionary socialist who was influential in the Indian independence movement. His intentions were praised by everyone in India. He should be awarded bharat ratan for his contribution. His legacy prompted youth in India to continue fighting for independence He is commemorated with a range of memorials including a large bronze statue in the Parliament of India. He acts as an inspirational icon in the Indian freedom struggle. He gave a new direction to the National Movement against the British rule. Patriotism was in his blood. He is often called as “Shaheed Bhagat Singh” as “Shaheed” means “Martyr” after he sacrificed his life for the nation. He became a prominent leader of the “Hindustan Social republican Association” in the year 1928

He had a clear vision and dedication of the purpose in accomplishment of his goals. Bhagat Singh had very clear thoughts and openly defied British. His only aim was to free India from theslavery of British. He established contacts with members of Kirti Kisan Party. The Jalianwala Baghtragedy in 1919 left a scar in Bhagat’s mind which leads to the formation of the Naujawan Bharat Sabha in  March, 1926. In 1926, he along with Kundan Lal and Azad planned to rescue the prisoners of Kakori Case, but they failed and exploded a bomb in Lahore on Dussehra the same year. But they were released due to lack of evidence. He even threw two bombs at the Central Legislative Assembly, with Bakuteshwar Dutt and shouted slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad”. Bhagat Singh openly opposed the discrimination that was made between the British and Indian prisoners. He even went on hunger strike with fellow prisoners to express resentment. British were forced to accept the demands, after a month of long strike. He was finally convicted with murder of Saunders and for the Assembly bomb attack and hence ordered death sentence along with revolutionaries Sukhdev and Rajguru. All three of them were hanged to death in Lahore on March 23, 1981. Bhagat Singh is fondly remembered as “Shaheed-E-Azam” He had a keen mind and intellect that made him a leader in many revolutions.

SHAHEED BHAGAT SINGH

Bhagat Singh was born on September 27, 1907 in a Sikh family in village Banga in Layalpur district of Punjab. His father name was Sardar Kishan Singh and mother Vidyavati. Bhagat’s family was actively involved in freedom struggle.

Bhagat Singh came into contact with some well-known political leaders like Lala Lajpat Rai and Ras Bihari Bose While studying at the local D.A.V. School in Lahore, in 1916. He was only 12 years old when Jalianwala Bagh massacre took place in 1919. Bhagat Singh ran away from home to avoid early marriage, and went to Kanpur. His only aim was to establish a republic in India by means of an armed revolution. In February 1928, a committee from England, called Simon Commission visited India, and with his bad behavior Indians decided to boycott Simon Commission.

While protesting against Simon Commission in Lahore, Lala Lajpat Rai was brutally Laathi charged with injuries. Bhagat Singh took revenge of Lajpat Rai's death by shooting the British official responsible for the killing. He shot down Assistant Superintendent Saunders instead, mistaking him for Scott. To escape death punishment, Bhagat Singh had to flee from Lahore. On April 8, 1929 Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw bombs in the Central Assembly Hall while the Assembly was in session.

In jail, he went on hunger strike to protest the inhuman treatment of fellow-political prisoners by jail authorities. On October 7, 1930 Bhagat Singh, Sukh Dev and Raj Guru were awarded death sentence by a special tribunal. Despite great popular pressure and numerous appeals by political leaders of India, Bhagat Singh and his associates were hanged in the early hours of March 23, 1931.
