Chief Minister Mr. Prakash Singh Badal met a delegation of Mulazam Front Punjab, to resolve the pending issues of the state employees.
Taking cognizance of the key issues, Mr. Badal announced that arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA) would be released before March 31, 2016 and final call on Assured Career Progression (ACP) Scheme would also be taken by 31st march. He also directed the personnel department to notify the Sixth Punjab Pay Commission about employees and pensioners of the state government within a month.
